The automatic line can realize all work fully automatical, so the workers’ work is changing from direct manipulation to the equipment adjustment and monitor the production process.

The basic form of automatic line structure

According to the ways of parts moving, it can be divided into pulse automatic production line and continuous automatic production line

1)The feature of pulsed (intermittent) automatic line is: the movement of the parts is the interrupted, the parts are intermittently displaced from one station to another station, when process the parts on the working station,the parts are not moving.

2)The features of continuous automatic production line: In the production process, the part is always in the state of continuous movement, each station for processing continuously moving parts. This way combines with the working stroke and idle stroke, which eliminates the time it takes on idle stroke, and it can improve the productivity greatly.

1.According to the types of automatic production line, it can be divided into automatic line and integrated automatic line

1)The single automatic line is characterized by: there will be only a process in the automatic line, while there will be several processes for processing a work piece, which requires integrated automatic line.

2)The integrated automatic line characteristics: an automatic online containing nature of a plurality of different process steps may be using a variety of devices at the same time.

2.According to the nature of the devices, it is divided into distribution type automatic line and automatic line

1)Automatic line of the distribution type is characterized by: its transport device transports the parts to the relevant station, when processing the parts must be removed from the transport device. This way is more suitable for processing small parts and the rotating body parts need to cut.

2)The work automatic line is characterized by: its transport device transfers the parts from one station to another station, at the processing time, it is unnecessary to remove parts.

3.According to the ways to connect, it is divided into hard connection automatic line, the soft connection automatic line and mixed connection automatic line.

4.According to the features of automatic line equipments, it is divided into the universal automatic line device and automatic line composed of modular machine tool.

1)The universal automatic line device is characterized by: it is composed by univisal equipments, it is normally used for processing parts in small sizes. On the processing line, universal equipments changes into special equipments, Equipment utilization is very low, but it can save the investment of the automatic line, when the processing parts change, it is relatively easy to organize the automatic line production.

2)Automatic line by a combination machine is characterized: It is mainly used for processing the large parts and cabinet pieces, this automatic line can simplify the shipping and handling of the parts.The connection ways are divided into the hard connection automatic line, soft connection automatic line and mixed connection automatic line.
